Thames Heritage Festival at Historic Kōpū Bridge

Carolyn from Thames

During Thames Heritage Festival come along to Historic Kōpū Bridge for a Peace Cycle/Walk on Saturday 14th March from 5-7pm. The event in a beautiful setting is an acknowledgement of the hardships and tragedies that have been endured in New Zealand and Australia in the past year. During the walk, story-teller Rosalie Steward will recount the fascinating background to the bridge's construction in 1928 in "Crossing the Waihou". This is a gold coin/koha event.
