Menzshed update
The Thames Menzshed has a home now behind the Thames Post Office. You are welcome to visit as we start to refurbish the old Mail Sorting Center building that we have now rented .
Working bees are on every Wednesday & Friday from 1pm & if you are interested to be involved with this great bunch of guys, them come & meet us as we set the workshop & plan to have our official opening at the end of September.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
