Support workers wanted

Glen from Central Whangarei

Hi, I am on the lookout for a support worker.
I am based in Riverside Drive, Whangarei.
I am creative and motivated. I walk with the aid of a walking stick but use a wheelchair when out and about.
I am always learning. I use AI to help create a better world
I am the CEO of a disabled children's charity. www.childrenwithdisability.co.nz...
Work duties include cleaning the house, making the bed, and preparing food. Somebody creative on a computer would be great. Hours are from 10 hours per week starting at $24.00 with an opportunity for more hours. Starting times would be 11 am on until whenever. I have some flexibility around days and or hours. Please PM me if you are interested.

A further opportunity is also available 5 to 10 hours per week. I have a box full of brochures about the charity. I need to do some door-knocking. I want to visit all the real estate companies, dentists and any other businesses that may support our charity, Children with Disability NZ.

If I go alone, being a wheelchair user myself with a voice disability will limit the likely success of these visits.
For this reason, I am prepared to pay a support person if needed. The ideal person would be outgoing and confident. So, the work duties for this position would be to accompany me in my wheelchair van. We will park up and hit the streets looking for potential sponsors. Other responsibilities would be working beside me in my home office, making calls and creating connections. I am authoring books, so a love of reading would be an advantage.

Opportunity number 3: I am 64 and quite disabled. I need to make an effort to stay fit. I am going to buy an exercycle. But I will struggle to get on the exercycle or lift my feet on the pedals, So I need a more personal support person to help me get on and off exercise equipment and help stretch me. Hours to suit

If interested, please PM me or text 021 685 400
