Whangarei Heads Arts Trail this Easter
Now that the holiday season is over it's time for all the WHAT artists to get extra busy preparing new work for this year's Easter event.
So far we have 32 local Artists and 12 exciting guests registered to take part. With 9 brand new Artists and the return of many popular exhibitors from previous years it looks like we are going to have another great show. As usual the event will take place over Easter weekend so put the date in your diary now, 15th & 16 April for Whangarei Heads Arts Trail. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
