Mens Group.
We are looking for more members for our mens group. We have been in existance for 7 years and meet fortnightly in Te Horo. There are only 3 of us at present and we would like 5-7 members. We discuss a range of topics which come up and how our life is going. We offer support and friendship and a social time in the fortnight. The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
We want to know: Should mining projects like this move ahead?
