Brett McGregor needs little introduction – he describes himself as a Masterchef, Author, Teacher and a Food & Wine Ambassador. In 2010 he was declared New Zealand’s first Masterchef – this was the catalyst for him to follow his bliss.

He says, the development of his culinary skills can only be attributed to one person, his mother! While his mum’s influence helped Brett learn important skills, it was through his mum and dad’s travels that he was first introduced to new flavours from all over the world. His cooking style is tasty, fresh, seasonal and easily achievable. Brett says, "food doesn’t have to be complicated to be delicious."
