Our Next Tea meeting is being held on Tuesday 7 October.
at the Ocean Road Community Centre, Socialising at 6pm for a 6.30pm meal, the cost of which is $26.00.

Next we will hear from our Guest Speaker, Karl Webber.
He will give insights into
Kapiti Island and its environs where he lived for several years.

And then we will have some Club Business to discuss. This will give you the opportunity to learn more about “what we do.”

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
