Former members and/or friends of Kapiti Arts & Crafts Society
Did you belong to Kapiti Arts & Crafts in past years?
The Kapiti Arts and Crafts Society Inc was founded in 1974 by several local artists, including the late Tui McLauchlan, for the various potters, carvers, spinners, knitters, weavers, felters and painters in the area.
We want to invite any past members to AFTERNOON TEA and catch up with old friends on Monday 3 June 2.00 pm (King's Birthday Weekend).
RSVP for catering to kapitiartsandcrafts@protonmail.com with "50 Years" in the subject line.
Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
