Forget housework! Come along to our indoor market day, this Saturday 14 October, 9.00am to 3.00pm at our rooms 27a Elizabeth St, Waikanae (over the railway line). Items for sale include embroidery, spinning, knitting, weaving, paintings, cards, fresh produce, plants, scrummy baking and raffles. For the first time there will also be a ‘craft stash’ table. Poll: Would you participate in local initiatives aimed at stopping plastic from reaching our oceans?
Volunteers will be scouring the foreshore, riverbanks, and islands for rubbish on Saturday the 13th as part of the Clean Up the Hutt event.
This initiative helps stop plastic from reaching our oceans and makes our waterways cleaner and safer for everyone.
