FATHER CHRISTMAS WILL BE AT THE MAHARA PLACE MARKET TODAY

Bring the Kids along to the Waikanae Mid-week Market TODAY in Mahara Place to have their photo taken with Father Christmas. His ETA is around 10ish and he'll be flying out again around 11ish.

There will be lots and lots of great Christmas Gift ideas available at the market which runs from 9.30am until Midday. Get your Christmas Fresh Veges, Tironui Soudough Bread (be quick though), Locally Grown Avocados, Fresh Blueberries, Lions Christmas Cakes and beautiful Bunches of flowers. SHOP LOCAL!!

Poll: Would you participate in local initiatives aimed at stopping plastic from reaching our oceans?

Volunteers will be scouring the foreshore, riverbanks, and islands for rubbish on Saturday the 13th as part of the Clean Up the Hutt event.

This initiative helps stop plastic from reaching our oceans and makes our waterways cleaner and safer for everyone.
