We are planning for another intake of caring, compassionate people to come and learn how to to help the community with information ranging from train timetables to employment, tenancy, family and consumer issues - the variety is endless, you'll never stop learning! Please email kapiti@cab.org.nz, call into our offices upstairs at Coastlands, or ring 04 298 4944 for an application form. Training is planned to start in July.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
