Geese cull in Palmie, what about doing it in Kāpiti?

Reporter Community News

The Palmerston North City Council is shooting Canada geese to reduce numbers.
Palmerston North City Council parks manager Kathy Dever-Tod said some residents would be upset that the culls were to continue, but the council had thoroughly investigated all options.
She said Canada geese were invasive and their aggressive personalities deterred many people, especially young families, from using local parks.

What about doping it in Kāpiti, where geese are a major problem?
