Does anyone know what this insect is?
We have burrow holes that just came up in our back 'lawn' area and if you scuff them up this black wasp like bug comes out.
The burrows just appeared in last few days but there seems to be a LOT of them.
I use the word 'lawn' reservedly... typical Waikanae Beach!
