Total Mobility Scheme

In case some members were not already aware of this scheme:
The Total Mobility scheme assists eligible people with a permanent disability or impairment to access appropriate transport to enhance their community participation. This assistance is provided in the form of subsidized door to door transport services.
Eligible customers present their Total Mobility smart card to access a 50% discount on eligible door-to-door transport, up to a maximum of $40 per trip.

WELL-ABLE (The Kapiti Disability Information Centre) , 110 Rimu Road, Paraparaumu are assessors for this scheme and can visit you at home to carry out an assessment to see if you qualify. The fee for this is $25.
