Everyone has a story to tell. We talk about them all the time. Capturing your story either one-on-one, or in a fun community environment can be a very rewarding project. It's a great way to preserve your memories/family history, re-connect with whanau and friends, and a treasure for future generations. The upcoming series of 5-weekly 2.5-hour community workshops commence on Friday 21st July in Paraparaumu. These workshops are very popular. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
