THE LIONS CLUB OF KAPITI - Invitation
The next meeting of The Lions Club of Kapiti is to be held on Tuesday 6 June at the Ocean Road Community Centre (Formerly The Senior Citizens Hall) in Ocean Road.
We will be having a meal ($26.00 per head) and listening to Our Speaker, Hayden Martin of Fire and Emergency.
This will be followed by a “brief” business session.
We meet at 6.00pm for a 6.30pm meal and we finish at about 8.30pm.
If you would like to attend and meet members of the club and also observe what we are about please advise Andrew Laing at andthel@outlook.com by 5.00pm on Friday 2 June so we can confirm catering numbers.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
