A sad day for a young family. They lost everything in a house fire. I git there and it was in the neighbours property. It wasnt even through the fence at the time I arrived. Very saddened and we need some of the community to help this young family, I dont know who they are
I feel the fire brigade took to long to get here, to little staff, and came from Golf Road. Traffic and we are a long way away, to little to late.
This was a big fire, explosions and flying embers, burning grass . Papamoa is a long way from urgent help, I made several 111 calls everything is so slow.
I saw the fire before it came over the fence (hope this is being investigated in a fire ban) from neighbours, told burning rubbish, kids toys burning, some ones bride is gone, a nice home.
Many unanswered questions.
This family needs help, what do we do to help everyone.
