Tauranga SeniorNet Club holds classes for seniors who would like to be able to use their electronic device to it's full advantage. Learn from other seniors in a friendly environment. The club is holding an open day Tuesday 4th July 10.00 am to 2.00 pm in it's club room at the Historic Village, 17th Avenue. Not a member? Find a course that interests you in term three and you can join the club and enroll on the day. Efpos and online banking available. The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
