Tauranga City Council Rubbish Decision
Recently the Council decided to impose a compulsory annual rate charge of $230 per household for kerbside rubbish pickup. This will be 4 plastic bins for rubbish, recycling, food waste and glass. At the same time it is downgrading the rubbish collection from weekly to fortnightly. No Pay-as-you-Throw options is available. PRRA feel this decision is not the best for Tauranga residents and have set up an Online Petition for you to let the Council know your views. Go to the front page of the Papamoa Residents & Ratepayers website and follow the link. Our target is 5000 responses. Please pass onto your friends. www.papamoaresidents.co.nz...

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
