This exhibition features the work of local embroiderers who are members of the Counties Embroiderers’ Guild Inc. based in South Auckland.
The Counties Embroiderers’ Guild Inc. is a branch of the Association of New Zealand Embroiderers’ Guild Inc. (ANZEG) and provides an opportunity for new and experienced embroiderers to share and learn needlecraft and embroidery techniques.
This Embroidery Exhibition will demonstrate a variety of embroidery techniques both traditional and contemporary with the opportunity to “Have A Go” on Saturday 22nd November.
The Counties Embroiderers’ Guild Inc. meets at two venues in South Auckland each month.
1st Thursday of the month from 9:30 to 11:30 am at Ngāti Tamaoho, 128 Hingaia Road, Karaka
2nd Thursday of the month from 9:30 to 12 noon at St Andrews Anglican Church Hall, 43 Queen Street,
Pukekohe with a “Stitch and Chat” session following the meeting from 12 to 2:30 pm (bring your lunch)
Our Guild welcomes new members and our members will be present at the Exhibition each day to
discuss the exhibits and work of our Guild.
