The Team from Resene ColorShop Takanini

A selection of renowned Auckland based artists, including Vjekoslav Nemesh and Liam Downes will be working on their latest inspirations ‘live' at their easels.

From expressionism to impressionism, from fantasy to real life. Discover what makes them do what they do; the process, the obstacles, the rewards.

The artists will be on hand to answer your queries and to share tips and techniques - we promise they won’t bite!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
