PAPAKURA ART GROUP INC.
Hi Everyone,
We have dismantled our very successful Exhibition at the Sir Edmund Hillary Library and booked for the next one in April 2019.
Last Wednesday we learnt how to do washes, backgrounds and mask some of our finer work using watercolour, thanks to Gloria and Carol.
Next week we plan to complete a painting using the techniques we have been shown.
As always new members are most welcome.
Where to find us: - We meet at the Old Central School Hall 57 Wood St Papakura every Wednesday 12-3:30pm
What do we offer: - Free painting time, Art Tuition with experienced Artists Demonstrations and tips, a great book and DVD library, Workshops, Social interaction, Exhibitions, Competition, Plein Air days, a weekly newsletter, free tea and coffee available; make it yourself and bring along your lunch for a sit down and chat from mid-day.
What we use: - Our members work in watercolour, pastels, acrylics, oils, pencil/pen and charcoal and mixed media.
Who are we: - We are a very active group of people who welcome new members and who are always willing to help if you need some help.
