Matariki on Main Street
The weather's looking fine for tonight's Matariki on Main Street event. The street will be closed between Aotaki and Matene streets for the mid-winter street party. There will be local bands, kapa haka, fire performers, a stilt walker, drummers, stalls and kai. Also check out activities at the Maoriland Hub in the old Edhouse's building. Blow out the winter cobwebs and come on down to Main Street to celebrate Matariki. Activities from 6pm through until 9pm. Organised by the Otaki Promotions Group with support from Kapiti Coast District Council.
