Labour weekend traffic delays
Maintenance work will start on the Waiareka Creek Bridge next Tuesday 29 October.
The work will reduce the bridge to single lane with a 30 km/h speed controlled by traffic signals for all of November. The bridge will be closed to some over-dimension and over-weight permit holders for loads that are wider than three metres or exceed class one weight limits.
Drivers should expect minor delays and allow extra time for their journey between the end of October through to early December.
