Monarch caterpillars seeking new abode
Has anyone got an abundance of Swan Plants? I have an abundance of Monarch Caterpillars that have eaten their way out of house and home. I know about feeding them pumpkin - as a last resort but not recommended -but with the price of food, I'd prefer they went to someone's plant. Ph 0274262942

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
