Affordable Community Housing Project
Long shot here ... some years ago I attended a meeting held at the library re a new community housing initiative being planned in New Plymouth. A small community with communal areas - residents looking out for each other etc
Did this go ahead?

This Friday is Pink Shirt Day, which began in Canada in 2007 when two students took a stand against homophobic bullying after a new student was harassed for wearing pink. People across the globe are now encouraged to wear pink on this day to take a stand against bullying and promote inclusivity.

Galvin and Rivers Lunchtime Concert, Wednesday 22nd May
Marion Rivers and Peter Galvin will be performing at a lunchtime concert in the Methodist Centre (Whiteley Memorial Church) this coming Wednesday starting at 12.15pm.
Between the two of them, they play a host of instruments including guitar, banjo, piano, accordion, ukulele, washboard, Northumberland pipes, Irish whistle and more. They are well known for their toe-tapping music when playing at different venues and occasions such as St. Paddy's Day, Germanic Beer Festivals, Farmers Market etc.
