Jewellery making treasure trove

Karen from Westown

.... SOLD......
HI I have been given a huge box of jewellery making stuff. (not gold, silver) It belonged to some one who has retired from the business and everything imaginable is there. Chains, earring fittings, pendants, spacers, beads galore, in different colours.. Gold, silver, bronze.. All in topclass clip top storage containers. Viewing is in Stratford but if enough interest I could bring thru to NP for an afternoon. Price will be discussed. Would prefer it to be sold all together. Estimate offers starting around $100. Worth a lot more.
Money will be donated to St Andrews Op Shop, Stratford to be used for funding books in schools.

Picture will be posted tonight.

Founders Plantation Picnic, Saturday 4 May 11am - 2pm. Waimea Stream Reserve, Pembroke St, New Plymouth

Charles from Whalers Gate

New Plymouth Central Lions are hosting a family picnic and BBQ at the Founders Plantation.
The almost 2000 trees were planted in 1991 in a project organised by the Merrilands Lions Club (which no longer operates) to commemorate 150 years since the establishment of the colonial settlement of New Plymouth at Ngāmotu by surveyor Frederick Carrington in 1841.
Come and see the splendid Kauri, Kahikatea and Totaras after 30 years of development. Many families, businesses and groups were involved; the names are on the steel drums!
