Holiday Music Programme
The Taranaki Young Musicians Music School is hosting a Holiday Music Programme from January 17th to January 20th. Young musicians are invited to take part in four afternoons of music-making and learning about playing in groups with their instruments. Students should already have an elementary knowledge and bring their own instruments Each afternoon students will have instrument tuition sessions with music teachers, and time together to play as an ensemble. Details are in the attached poster.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
