Myrtle rust ban lifted in Taranaki.
As myrtle rust has now spread beyond the Taranaki area, the Ministry for Primary Industries has now lifted the ban on moving myrtle plants and green waste from this region. However, restrictions still apply to properties affected by myrtle rust.
If you spot myrtle rust, don’t touch it and call 0800 80 99 66 immediately.
