Taranaki Beekeepers Club is starting their Beekeeping For Beginners Course at 7pm on Monday 5th August at the West Baptist Church, 144 South Rd, (between Spotswood Service Station and Ngamotu Rd).
The course is on the first Monday of each month for five months and is backed up with fortnightly, hands on, field days at the Club Apiary.
No charge for the first two nights with the expectation that you will join the club, ($30 per membership) to continue.
This course is aimed at the complete novice and covers topics such as equipment selection and sourcing, how to get stock, compliance, bee husbandry and hive management.
If you have questions that cannot wait until Monday then please call Chris on 027 444 8200.
Free to remove. There is an edged Garden area under there. Old good Compost under top layer. And in the 2 Bins.
I have Rock Gardens so unable to use.
I have a small lawn that I push mow. Occasionally I get it done with motor mower. As it has clumps in it now.
Also old Feijoa needs trimming back.
My Tool only does small diameter branches.
Any recommendations please.
Hey neighbours, everyone's had a part to play in the fight against Covid-19, but here's a chance to say thanks to someone you know who kept working for the benefit of the rest of us - nurses, doctors, pharmacists, teachers, supermarket employees and many, many more.
We're giving away three prizes with Resene, each worth more than $500, including a Resene colour consultation, a $350 Resene voucher and the latest Resene fan decks.
So if you know an essential worker who would love one of these prize packs, click here to nominate them.
