World Music Premiere, 10 choirs and Taranaki Youth Orchestra.
Ten school choirs comprising 200 pupils together with the Taranaki Youth Orchestra will be performing a World Premiere of a major choral work written especially to commemorate Project Mounga. This is the project to make Mt. Taranaki predator free.
Moturoa School pupils working with our internationally award winning and renown author, David Hill, prepared the script for this work. This has been set to music by composer David Hamilton, also an international award winner. This will be performed in two concerts on Friday 20th March at Theatre Royal, 4 pm and 7 pm. Tickets from Pianoworks.
