Gold Award - 2018 New Zealand Commercial Project Awards

Manager from Pepper Construction Limited

Local construction company, Pepper Construction, keeping up with the national award winners...

Andrew Pepper, Managing Director, Pepper Construction (2013) Limited was delighted to collect another national award – a Gold Award in the CARTERS Commercial category for the Te Henui Chapel, New Plymouth, project – at the 2018 New Zealand Commercial Project Awards dinner in Auckland on Friday.

Andrew congratulated everyone involved in the project, especially Bill Jackson & Scott Ferguson of Jackson Architects and the owners, Richard & Casey Martin of Eagars Funerals, on their commitment to the award judging process and touted this result as a real fillip to Taranaki builders generally.

“To achieve further success at national level is most rewarding and reflects admirably on our growing team.

May this encourage everyone involved in building/construction locally to back yourselves at this level; Taranaki continues to shine on the national & international stages in so many ways!” he said.

Founders Plantation Picnic, Saturday 4 May 11am - 2pm. Waimea Stream Reserve, Pembroke St, New Plymouth

Charles from Whalers Gate

New Plymouth Central Lions are hosting a family picnic and BBQ at the Founders Plantation.
The almost 2000 trees were planted in 1991 in a project organised by the Merrilands Lions Club (which no longer operates) to commemorate 150 years since the establishment of the colonial settlement of New Plymouth at Ngāmotu by surveyor Frederick Carrington in 1841.
Come and see the splendid Kauri, Kahikatea and Totaras after 30 years of development. Many families, businesses and groups were involved; the names are on the steel drums!
