Delays on Mt Messenger
The NZ Transport Agency will start major asphalt resurfacing works on the south side of State Highway 3, Mt Messenger on Monday, February 26. Various sites over approximately 2.5 kilometres of State Highway 3 on Mt Messenger will have the existing road surface removed and a new asphalt surface applied. Repairs will take at least seven working days and will be carried out between 7.30am and 7.30pm. The improvements are subject to suitable weather conditions. There will be delays of possibly up to an hour.
