Therapy dog
Am looking for an owner of a small dog who wouldn't mind their pet being brought into a loving kind home for a few hours a week to keep my Mum company and much longed for emotional support that animals can naturally provide by just being there. She recently lost her precious long haired miniature daschund which was part of our family for 16 years. Would suit an older smaller dog looking for day time company and just be required to sit near her so she can reach out and make a fuss of from her wheelchair/ armchair in their lounge. This would make a world of difference for Mum to have such an opportunity made available to her. If you can help we would love to hear from you.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
