Non-profit naturopathic or herbal advice for lingering health problems
Hi Neighbours!
My name is Shelley Gard, I live in New Plymouth with my husband and children. This year, I am based in Auckland, part-time, to complete my Bachelor of Natural Medicine / degree in Naturopathy and Medical Herbalism.
My reason for messaging, is to provide you, or your friends and family with an opportunity to visit me @ the Paua Clinic, Ellerslie. This fantastic Naturopathic Clinic is full of expert advice, using evidence-based quality natural solutions for health care. We also have full use of a dispensary, on site, with quality ‘practitioner-only’ supplements and herbal medicines.
I only have EIGHT consultation spots left, as part of my study requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise the clinic and resources, while I am there. I am interested in helping people suffering from anxiety, stress, and depression with natural solutions.
$40 first consultation (90 mins). $20 students (Uni, high school).
FREE children under 6 and seniors. FREE follow-ups everyone (60 min).
Note: First consultations must be completed @ the Paua Clinic in Ellerslie, Auckland, face to face. After which follow-ups can be conducted anywhere in New Zealand via zoom.
Please contact me to secure a booking or pass this on to loved ones living in Auckland.
Email booking enquiries to: shelley.gard@spcnmstudent.ac.nz
Many thanks for taking the time to read my message. Much appreciated!
Shelley 😊
Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
