Volunteering
Is there anyone in the community who would like to volunteer once a month for approximately 3 hours on the 3rd Friday of each month for our New Plymouth Stroke Support Trust. We meet at the Beach Street Hall, Fitzroy, New Plymouth. This is a very rewarding job just helping people who have been unfortunate to have a stroke. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
