Our gardens are getting smaller, so NZ Gardener wants to come up with some suggestions for edible crops that do well in pots and small spaces! Suggest the crops that have done well for you (ideally specify a variety) and tell other keen gardeners how you grew them, how they performed for you, and any practical advice you would pass on to ensure a great result with that crop, and any secret tips you are prepared to pass on! If your tip is used in the magazine, you'll receive a free copy... And of course the glory of being in New Zealand's favourite gardening magazine! Click on this link to send us your best tip!
Hello Everyone ... We are urgently in need of a family home to rent for the long term.
We would prefer 4 bedrooms as we like to host international students via Nayland College but we can make 3 bedrooms work. The maximum weekly rent that we can manage is $475.
We are a family of 4 ... 2 children ages 12 and 14yrs... I am 59yrs young and my wife is 49 years young.
We would prefer the Stoke, Nayland, Enner Glynn areas but anything will be considered.
This is urgently required so if anyone can help, please contact Nigel on 022 3243695 or Sarah on 022 6542069. Thank you.

Industrial action will affect the provision of radiology services (X-ray, CT & MRI) in Nelson and Wairau Hospitals on Monday and Wednesday.
Please note: Ultrasound services are unaffected.
All hospitals nationwide are preparing for a further strike by Medical Imaging Technologists (MITs) who are covered by the Association of Professional and Executive Employees (APEX) collective employment agreement.
Some of our MITs will participate in a 24-hour withdrawal of labour from:
1. 0700 Monday 14 October to 0700 Tuesday 15 October and
2. 0700 Wednesday 16 October to 0700 Thursday 17 October.
Our contingency planning team has worked hard to minimise the potential effects of the strike on patient care, prioritising the continuation of emergency and urgent services during the strike.
The provision of radiology services at Nelson & Wairau Hospitals, including the Emergency Departments, will be affected during the periods of industrial action.
Thank you for your patience.
