Age Concern Nelson Tasman holds hui on social connection. Did you attend?
Age Concern Nelson Tasman hopes a hui held this morning will help it find new ways to tackle loneliness and social isolation that affect some older people in the region.
Age Concern Nelson Tasman Manager, Caroline Budge, says "we have worked really hard these past few years to keep older people connected to their communities".
She hoped the hui would help kick start a new phase of social connection initiatives.

Calling all those in Wheelchairs
Hi, I'm Simon .... a 44 yr old wheelchair user who wants to meet others in a similar position as myself (particularly a woman). I've been a sole parent now for almost 18 years and my son has just left the nest, so I thought it was time to start on the next stage of my life. I have cerebral palsy that effects just my legs (kinda the reason I can't walk) sooooooo if any of you are interested in getting to know me, flick me a message. I enjoy spending time with my son when he comes to visit and my pets (1 cat and 2 birds), I also enjoy building computers as well as a bit of gaming/watching TV too.
