Poll: Do we need to improve conditions for tenants?

The government is asking for submissions on proposed changes to the Residential Tenancies Act.

This includes limiting rent rises to once a year, limiting "rental bidding", looking at changing regulations around pets and home alterations, and increasing the amount of notice a landlord needs to end a tenancy to 90 days.

We would like to speak with people currently renting a home, as well as landlords, about their experiences renting or letting, and their thoughts on the proposed changes for a Stuff story.
