FIBRE CRAFTING SUNDAYS
Our grandmothers did it, our great grandmothers did it and some of their menfolk did it. Even now some people are still doing it. What? The art of woolcraft – spinning, knitting, weaving, felting, crocheting.
With the resurgence of interest in this wonderful and satisfying artform, the Richmond Creative Fibre Group has decided to offer a chance to learn fibre craft to anyone interested who doesn't get the chance to do so on a weekly bases.
The last Sunday for the next 3 months at Birch Hall at the A&P Grounds in Richmond, from 1.30 to 3.30pm, the Richmond Group are having meetings to help cater for any teenagers and older wanting to learn or get help on any of the wool crafts. Experienced people will be there who will be able to give a guiding hand. The Group is asking for a gold coin donation for the afternoon. Tea and coffee will be provided.
So the Sunday dates are 25 March, 29 April, and 27 May 2018. 1.30 to 3.30pm
