Maitai demonstrators take 'keep it rural' message to council

More than 100 people turned out at Civic House on Tuesday to show the Nelson City Council their opposition to a proposed housing development in the Kaka/Maitai Valley.

Is the Kaka Valley a suitable spot for a new subdivision, or do the costs outweigh the potential benefits?
