Pretzel Making - For Kids

16th September 2019, 3:30pm–5:00pm at Riverside Community in Lower Moutere.

This is a floury hands on kitchen workshop - Exclusively For KIDS - with Franka Haeussner, who has many years experience in baking delicious treats, including the doughy european favourite: the pretzel! We will make a yummy big pretzel each - and eat it of course! Limited to 10 children, so get in early. Children under 9 years must be accompanied by an adult.

$5 per child.
This workshop has been organised by Riverside Education and is proudly sponsored by the Riverside Community Trust.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
