Auckland Transport plans to limit traffic in Auckland's CBD to 30kmh and says it will help to save lives and reduce injuries, protect pedestrians and cyclists, and encourage more active travel. We don't have the same traffic volume but the CBDs in Nelson and Richmond are pretty tight circuits. Should we be looking at the same sort of initiative here?
