Help Save our Reserves!
Deadline 4pm this Friday 27th January. Please show council you care about Nelson's reserves - make a quick submission online (see below). Eg: Reserves belong to the community, they should never be sold. Green spaces are really important for our well-being. Its an important corridor for birds. Locals and school children did planting and maintenance on this reserve. Its an important walking link in our city pathways.
Please help save this reserve! Every single submission counts!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
