CHANGE OF ROOM AT NMIT
Amnesty International’s annual "Write for Rights" face-to-face letter writing event: 2pm to 5pm on Saturday, 10 December at NMIT, now in room K205.
As weekend access is restricted, organisers will let attendees in at 2pm at the Alton Street entry door (we will have our banner out on the pavement). Late comers please text or call Fiona on 0212010150 so she can pop down to let you in. In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
