The mother of one of a pair of boys threatened at knifepoint for their hand-built mini-bikes while fishing at a Hamilton riverside say it’s not the New Zealand she grew up in.
Two 16-year-olds were left shaken and their family struggling to sleep and wondering what happened to a country where they can’t fish without being mugged after the incident last Monday.
