GOOD NEWS - UPDATE- STREET HOP ON SUNDAY 3rd November.

You will be interested to learn the Street Hop will be held in Trafalgar St.,Hardy St.& Morrison Square from 10am to 3pm & it's a free family event.
Uniquely Nelson is planning on making it spectacular by including classic cars, motorbikes, dance troupes dressed in period costume. Two bands will also be playing 50's, 60's,& 70's music.
*On your behalf I extend our heartfelt thanks to Uniquely Nelson for bringing this event to our central city & giving it vibrancy/colour we all are seeking.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
