Burst of heavy rain for northwest Nelson
A front preceded by a moist northeast flow is expected to cross the upper South Island overnight tonight (Thursday).
A burst of heavy rain is expected for the Nelson region and a Watch is now in place for northwest Nelson west of about Motueka.
People are advised to keep up to date with the latest forecasts in case this Watch is upgraded to a full Warning or further areas are added.
