This is a priceless piece of NZ Native bush, home to the rare Nelson Green Gecko, and the Parera duck. We will be improving their habitat by planting trees, doing some landscaping and some building.

Call Murray on 5470887 or email murray.leaning@meganelson.co.nz if you want to help.

There will be a dawn blessing at 6.30am, and we will provide an awesome BBQ lunch and drinks. Bring boots, rainwear and a spade or grubber if you have one.

Did you know that burning plastic is highly toxic to humans?
Below you'll find a fact-sheet I found that will give you everything you need to know.

Unfortunately for me, our neighbours seem to be burning their household rubbish in the wood fire...and the smoke blows directly into our house.

Fumes not only affect the outside environment but also inside. You could be slowly poisoning your family.

So make sure when you are sourcing paper to light the fire that it doesn't contain any plastic. Things like the tissue box plastic, remove it first.
