Central Nelson bike stand project at the halfway mark

Tim Newman Reporter from The Nelson Mail

The first of the covered bike stands, which can accommodate for 60 bicycles each, was set up in Montgomery Square in December. The second, located outside Civic House on Trafalgar St, is expected to be ready by mid-March.

What are your thoughts on the bike stand project? Are they an encouragement to get on your bike more or are they taking up valuable car parking space?
